The repair process planning process started a long time before shovels hit the dirt.  Early in May 2023 shovels did hit the dirt.  15 volunteers showed up and got started on making this trail shine.

Progress was obvious by the start of the week how much work the volenteers had done.

Support for this project has been coming from Keep Prince William Beauty.

The volunteers closed off the old trechorous entrance and cut a new more accessable entrance facing Brook Drive.  It is now much easier and safer to access the trail.

The volunteers did significant work on the end of the trail, closing off the old steep climb and creating a more usable path up the bank to the back of the ESOL trailer.

The trail now goes from blacktop path in front to blacktop path in back.
