All students at DCES participate in a rigorous curriculum that encourages innovation, risk-taking, excitement for learning, and personal growth in a trusting partnership. Our comprehensive school counseling program supports all students and fosters partnerships between students, staff, families , and community members in order to eliminate the achievement gap and equip all students to achieve their full potential.
Counseling Mission
The mission of Dale City Elementary School is “Every Child. Everyday. Whatever it takes.” The Counseling Department at Dale City’s mission is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program thar addresses the academic, career, and personal/social emotional development of all students in a safe and nurturing environment. The Counseling Department is committed to advocating for all students’ success utilizing a developmentally appropriate, multi-tiered approach to maximize students' potential, and to prepare students to be lifelong learners and productive members of society.
